Ramadan Reflection Week #4

How bitter sweet to reach the last week of the holy month of Ramadan! As previously mentioned my posts became fewer as I spent more time on reading, and learning more about Islam based on its teachings in the Quran.

Ramadan Day #22

“Some people think that being strong is to never feel pain, in reality the strongest people are those who feel it, understand it, accept it and learn from it and are purified from it because pain is purification, only the purified enter into heaven.”
– Shaykh Muhammad bin Yahya al-Husayni al-Ninowy

“Forget other people. Fighting against your own nafs is the foremost & greatest battle for you in this life.”

– Wardina Safiyyah

Ramadan Day #23

Remember to always have a positive attitude and be less judgmental towards others. You see what they allow you to, but you never truly know what they are going through. Nor do you know their intentions or what’s in their hearts

It’s narrated by Hamdun al-Qassar (one of the great early Muslims in the late 9th)

“If a friend among your friends errs, make seventy excuses for him. If your hearts are unable to do this, then know that the shortcoming is in your own selves.”

Ramadan Day #24

Let us all remember : Who except Allah can give you peace? Has the world ever been able to satisfy your heart? Really truly?! #RamadanReminders

Peace and Love,

Widaad ✌🏽️❤️
